Terms of Service

These terms are between uManageClub and the people who set up and run a club in it: club admins, team leaders and coaches. Families who join with a club code use the app through their club.

Your account

• You must be at least 18, and the details you give us must be true.
• Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what's done with your account, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
• One account per person. Don't share it, and don't sign in as someone else.

Your club's responsibilities

When you set up a club or add people to it, you confirm that:

• you're allowed to act for the club;
• the club has whatever permission it needs from families to put their children's information (such as names and dates of birth) in the app;
• what your club posts - announcements, photos, files, links, marketplace listings - is lawful, respectful and suitable for a youth sports club.

Club admins decide who their team leaders and coaches are, and can remove them at any time.

Acceptable use

Don't use uManageClub to:

• harass, bully or embarrass anyone, especially a child;
• post anything hateful, sexual, violent or illegal;
• try to see another club's information, break the app's security, or overload it;
• send spam or advertising that the club hasn't approved.

We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where we can, we'll talk to the club first.

Plans and payment

• The Free plan costs nothing. What each plan includes is on our pricing page.
• Paid plans are billed to the club, in Canadian dollars, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until cancelled. Taxes are added where they apply.
• You can change or cancel a plan at any time. A cancelled plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and the club then moves to the Free plan - nothing is deleted.
• If a payment fails or a plan ends, the club gets a grace period. After that, the club's extra groups become read-only until the plan is renewed. Families can still see everything.
• If we change a price, we'll tell the club's admins at least 30 days before it applies to them.

Your club's information

Your club's information belongs to your club. We use it only to run the app for the club, as described in our Privacy Policy. Club admins can export their club's information from the app. If a club stops using uManageClub, it can ask us to delete its information.

The service

• We work hard to keep uManageClub running and secure, but we can't promise it will never be unavailable or never have a mistake. Keep your own copy of anything critical (club admins can export it).
• Information pulled from other places - such as Speed Skating BC meets and results - comes from those sources. Check anything important with them.
• We improve the app all the time, so features may change. If we remove something important from a paid plan, we'll tell club admins first.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time on your account page. A club needs at least one club admin, so the last club admin has to add another one first, or ask us to close the club. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

Liability

uManageClub is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to a club is limited to what the club paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For important changes, we'll tell club admins in advance and ask them to agree again when they next sign in.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
